Front Desk & Operations
I have been a Newnan resident my entire life and have worked in Customer Service for years. I enjoy helping people and making sure their Barber Shop visit is a great one. You can find me at the front desk Monday-Friday. While I am off on the weekends, I enjoy spending time with my family, playing music/singing and being outdoors. Everyday is a blessing and during the years I have spent at the shop, the barbers have become a 2nd family.
Manager / Barber
Born and raised in wonderful Coweta county, I graduated from ECHS in 93' but don’t judge me, I can read and write ☺️ I still reside here in Newnan with my 3 amazing children. I attended hair school in the early 90’s. However, I did not do hair until I became a master barber when we purchased The Barber Shop of Newnan in 2007. I am a master barber as well as the manager of the shop. Prior to hair, I sold real estate for many years. My license is still with Keller Williams Realty but is in a holding company. My passion and heart is right here in this barber shop. I absolutely love what I do, the people I do it with, and the community I do it for. Oh and Go DAWGS!
I have been a master barber for 10 years. I love doing fades and specialty cuts. Curly hair or straight, I am comfortable with it all. I'm always going to talk and I enjoy a good conversations while getting to know my clients.
I have been a barber for 28 years. My main focus is my clients needs. Whatever they ask for is what they will get, and satisfaction is key. When I’m not busy making others look good, I enjoy working out and spending time with my one year old granddaughter Nevaeh aka SnickerDoodle. I am a firm believer in the verse from Philippians 4:13. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. How could you ever go wrong with that?
Born and raised in Brazil, I came to the USA in January of 2009. I love being a Barber and love the art of hair design. I went to Barber School in Columbus, GA, and graduated in August 2019. I want to bring back the ability to cut with straight razor blade. I am always hungry to learn. My next goals are hair color and design lines.
I graduated Newnan High School in 1996. I have lived in the Newnan area my whole life except for a brief time in Chattanooga. I have been in the hair industry since 2005. I love what I do. During my free time I enjoy keeping busy with projects around the house, and spending time with my dogs, friends and family. I’m so excited about working at The Barber Shop of Newnan and I look forward to meeting new clients.
I have been a cosmetologist for 25 years. My mother is a cosmetologist and so was my Great Aunt Louise. So I guess you could say I grew up in the business. I’m a former educator for sexy hair concepts. I started doing men’s only hair four years ago. When I have downtime I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I also re-purpose and refinish furniture and enjoy my animals.
Mary Beth Oxenford
I’ve been doing hair for 10 years now. I enjoy what I do and I am comfortable with all hair. I love to talk to my customers and make them my priority while sitting in the chair. I am Georgia born and raised. I am married to a wonderful man and have 3 kids. In my spare time I enjoy road trips and the mountains. “Work hard in silence, let your success be your noise”.
I graduated high school in 1991 in a small town called Prattville, Alabama. I have been in the "blue collar" industry for most of my life; serving the public in one form or the other. I graduated high school with a certification in building construction and all that entails. Later, I went to culinary school and became a Master Chef which gave me joy for a while. Longing for something, new I became a nurse and worked in the ER with Alzheimer’s patients for many years. Becoming a barber was my last endeavor and my favorite so far. I start my day with a smile and enjoy all my continuing clients that I help feel better about themselves. I see the joy in my clients faces and I don’t need a thank you; but when they look at me and say it, it warms my soul. "Grab each day as it may be your last, enjoy your surroundings and friends, and make people smile for no reason"... that is my motto.
"I survived because the fire inside me burned brighter than the fire around me".
I have been in this business for over 27 years. I'm the PROUD mom of 2 gorgeous, successful, grown young men. When I'm not at work, I enjoy just being at home, or spending time outdoors, and with my family and dogs. I moved to the beautiful state of Georgia 2 years ago to be closer to family. I was blessed to find even more family at The Barber Shop! We all have a special bond, and the MOST talent under one roof, and the BEST clientele in the county. Home is where the heart is. I am finally home.
I grew up in the shop since I was 5 years old. Heather is my mom and she taught me the receptionist role way before we had the need for a receptionist. I have plans to obtain my license and stay in family business.
